I shouldn't have been surprised when I popped this bottle open that it turned out to be a good wine. The best Merlots I have every tasted have come from the Walla Walla WA area. This is no exception. — 9 years ago
Delicious. The smell is amazing and the flavor is full. Very tropical but not overly sweet. — 10 years ago
Always a stunner. Quince and pineapple backed by sweet lemony citrus merge with spicy arugula and turnip purée. Botrytis is present, ginger-spicy but not over the top. Very dialed in on the ripeness, enough to give it a regal quality, but not overwhelmingly corpulent. Long finish driven by lingering pleasant bitterness and tangy acid. Crazy value in these wines. Similar quality producer and vineyard in burgundy would cost you 2-3x. — 10 years ago
Oh my, what a Cabernet. Seductive, charming and drinkable, but I would bet my bottom dollar that with good cellaring this would be a stunner. — 11 years ago
Sweet but done just right. Very smooth. But again! — 11 years ago
Amazing. Had this during our rich lamb course at The French Laundry and was just taken aback by how amazingly it was like Bordeaux wine. It complements very well with rich, meaty courses. Cannot speak well enough. — 9 years ago
Deep garnet color. Aromas of red and blueberries. Lots of fruit on the mouth feel. Super smooth finish. Enjoyable. — 10 years ago

This is totally freaky. It takes like flame broiled green onions. — 9 years ago
Like the federspiel riesling-- racy and nuanced. Vibrant but tight. Should develop well in bottle. — 10 years ago
