Tasted blind with the 2015 Patz & Hall Gap's Crown Pinot Noir and 2014 Patz & Hall Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir.

Medium garnet red with a darker core. Layered and complex nose with some elegant floral and spiced notes. A bit earthy, bark, herbal and a touch savory too. Light tannins (4/10) and high acidity (7/10). Burgundian in style, with a slight new world Pinot twist. Beautiful palate with spices, white pepper, and red berries. Medium body and log dry finish.
