Bonus! We had the 2010 and the 2011. I'm going to rate the 2010 here. The nose and first sip were dark and black fruit forward. Smelled less like zin and more like a Bordeaux. Taste and finish had nice structure, round edges, and a lasting, full bodied kick. We preferred the 2010 to the 2011, which was a juicier and more fruity red. — 10 years ago
Restaurant had half off wine and let me get this one. Long finish that goes on for days..... Great opportunity to try a great wine! — 10 years ago
Lovely, deep nose! Extremely soft on the palate with nice blackberry and plum flavors. Even a little spice. Fades pretty quick for an '09 Napa Cab and isn't as bold and powerful as I would have expected. Not bad but probably $20 bucks too high in price. Wife rated it 90/91. — 9 years ago
Light yet long on the palette. 2012 in early 2015 went down very well. Stood up to filet mignon nicely.

Had the 2010 Roll Ranch with Christmas dinner of prime rib, baby artichokes, asparagus, roasted potatoes. Had this after a 1999 Dalla Valle Cabernet. A little thin on first sip and not a as full as the regular cuvée. Losing fruit? Energized and vibrant for an older vintage. After some time in the glass, the wine filled out and is improving. Maybe decant? — 9 years ago
A bit oaky on day 1, better on day 2 and even better on day 3. — 10 years ago
Some would say jammy, some would say fruit forward. I say amazing. I'd spread it on toast if I could. So fruity it should be illegal. — 12 years ago
