Brilliant wine. Feels more like a Spatlese than a Kabinet. Delicious w roasted chicken and mashed potatoes. Perfect at this time w a hint of honey, and mouth filling acidity. Finished too soon :( — 9 years ago

The waltz between fruit and acidity is how I describe German Rieslings. Went really well with Indian spicy food. Acidity helps with softening the bold spices and fruit acts as a complement on the palate. This was more sweet for a kabinet. — 8 years ago
Reminds me of a Feinherb/Kabinet. A bit of RS, but tons of acidity keeps it in check. Drank much better on night 2 where it showed more besides lime and laserbeams and felt more fleshed out. — 9 years ago

Rather developed with deep golden hue. On the nose and palate some oxidative notes, sweet fruit, minerals, almond. Medium+ length. I'd have liked this a lot more if it would not have been so darn sweet tasting. Like young kabinet riesling from a ripe year. 2nd day the fruit is better balanced with acidity but at the same time wine lost some of the complexity it had on day one. Based on this I'll drink any remaining bottles within a year or 2 max — 5 years ago
