Among the best whites from burklin-wolf — 7 years ago
A bit broader & fuller, coming from heavier clay soils. Nice round mouthfeel with a mineral streak of green lemons piercing through. Nice balance and drinking beautifully right now. — 7 years ago
Interesting refreshing Chardonnay, less of the typical - sometimes overwhelming - tropical fruits. But more white fruit (melon), a bit more acidity and a subtle hint of oak. Easy to drink but also interesting for those who appreciate more complexity. — 8 years ago
A nice semi sweet wine that is not too dry — 5 years ago
Light cab sav. Easily drinkable without food but would also be great with steaks. This would please anyone. — 6 years ago
Smooth and perhaps a little light for a Cab which makes it good choice for pairing with most dishes. Definitely taste the cherries. Was eating some Syrian dark chocolate while tasting and it brought out that flavour in the wine. Good value for the price. — 6 years ago
Sweet but delicious — 8 years ago
This was a fucking beast. 15.5% abv, but it didn't drink like it. Classic Barossa. — 8 years ago
I thought is was a nice crisp citrus with good body and acidity. It actually held up well with a pork chop and sauerkraut. — 6 years ago
Ripe, round, dark fruit and elegant without a whole lot of complexity. Easy drinker — 6 years ago
last bottle, still enough stuffing going on!
Mint and eucalyptus, some chocolate and still jammy fruit. Second day it was over the hill. — 7 years ago

Yea! We have a winner! I am a fan of BW. A HUGE fan! Drinking these “old” ladies is very refreshing. They are not old, they are full of life and leave you speechless. 1997, 1999, 2001, 2003 and 2004 are from another planet — 5 years ago
