1976 vintage. Slight smell of cork was worrisome at first. But this wine was gorgeous and still singing. Smell of cork persisted. Bricking as expected, sous-bois, mushroom. A gorgeous wine. — 11 years ago

Big, deep, yeasty apple aromas with subtitle smoky notes. Dry and crisp on the palate with very gentile bubbles. Rich and slightly bitter with dry Apple flavors, lots of brioche and just a hint of smoke. Has the feel of a great, yeasty beer. — 10 years ago
