Recommended by the wine store owner as tobacco tasting. It wasn't really but I did enjoy it — 9 years ago

Delicious, excellent value — 5 years ago
Graphite, black peppercorn, and deep dark fruit note on the nose. After opening, a definite barnyard note with fruit undertones. A very different type of syrah, unadulterated and no tricks in the making of it. Quite nice! — 5 years ago
I wish more Zinfandel could be made like this. While this is just a baby, it’s already delivering so much pleasure. Very primary with bright red fruits and spices. Good acid. Long finish. A few years in the cellar will do these wonders and there’s no reason to doubt the Bedrock bottle will have the ability to age gracefully for well over a decade. Such an exciting project from Joel Patterson and looking forward to trying more!! — 6 years ago
Would get again for everyday wine and to bring for non wine experts — 8 years ago
Pâques 2020. — 5 years ago
The 2017 Beauséjour Héritiers Duffau-Lagarrosse is powerful and backward, with huge tannins wrapped around a core of black cherry, smoke, charcoal, licorice, blackberry jam and graphite. Exotic and rich in the glass, the 2017 needs time to soften, but it is immensely promising, not to mention utterly captivating. Tasted three times. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, March 2020)
