'98 vintage. What a beauty! A true ballet dancer, this wine is an absolute jewel of delicacy, elegance and grace. The purity of the nose is of epic proportions with beautiful red berries, black tea and light touches of anis. After an hour or so, spices emerge from the glass, cedar, incense and light camphor (or warm eucalyptus). Mouthfeel is delicious as well, full of balance, bright acidity and a persistent ripe black cherry flavor. I loved this wine! A true foodie wine! — 11 years ago

Jewel of Russia Ultra vodka (this extravagance can be subbed for decent vodka), 0.5 oz. Lillet Blanc. Shaken, not stirred...the original James Bond martini. — 14 years ago
