Juicy and full of fruit — 7 years ago
Extremely smooth. Beautifully balanced; dark ruby red. On the nose there is jelly, and on the palate there is a light strawberries, apples, and a earthy finish. Was too good. Paired nicely with a tomato and mushroom rigatoni. — 7 years ago
Cherry and strawberry flavors. Dry, but with nice robust fruit. Stainless steel ferment. No oak — 8 years ago
Hella purple. Very smooth elegant (like velour) blackberry and black mulberry jelly. Spice and serious tannins at finish show real breeding. $45 — 9 years ago
Easy drinking wine, but definitely has a different finish...not in a bad way. One of those wines that makes you go hmm! — 10 years ago
A delicate, pretty pink; like the colour of crabapple jelly. The primary aroma is floral, orange blossoms with a secondary bouquet of sea minerals as if you were sitting next to the Mediterranean engulfed by a warm sea-breeze. Good acidity that should cut through the oiliness of the barbecued Salmon on the grill. The flavours of rose water, grapefruit and tart strawberries make this an utterly delicious rosé for a hot summer’s day. — 6 years ago
This is Girard 2013 Artistry. The color is opaque. The bouquet is lavender and grape jelly. The initial bouquet is sharp and slightly sour but that quickly dissipates to a very dry finish. There is a quick blast of sour black berries and pepper in the middle of the palate. There is oak on the very dry finish. I think it needs to breathe for at least an hour. — 7 years ago
Floral, Honeysuckle, grassy hay note, fruit forest, spicy, balanced sweet and acidic, would be great with curry or spicy savoury Mexican style, — 7 years ago
Well developed with varieties of fruit and grass that mix well with the heavy acidity. Stone was apparent, no oak, all steel. Nice subtle minerality mixes in for a refreshing taste. Slight cinnamon/brown sugar mix in for a jelly bean taste. Crisp soft body. — 8 years ago
Black fruit, jammy, savory. M tannin, body and intensity. On the palate dark fruit, chocolate, strawberry. Finish is short. — 8 years ago
Butter popcorn jelly bean nice acidity fun stuff — 9 years ago
'04. Love the overall Alsatian-ness of this wine. Searing Riesling acid, but with ripe apricot and tangerine jelly, cheddar cheese, salt, powdered stone, mushroom, hay, yellow flower perfume and the ginger of botrytis. Has that tart but fat quality that Alsace does so well. Great now, but definitely more than a few years in it. — 10 years ago
Buttered popcorn on the nose. Green apple lots of citrus. With buttered popcorn jelly bellies on the palate. Once this opens up it had a nice brioche nose as well. Very nice acidity as well. — 10 years ago

Banger! Drank like really fine honey wine, or like if Gewürztraminer could even imagine acidity. Hazelnut, royal jelly, even a legume-like fatty character, maybe pea flowers? Truly excellent. I don’t know the vintage, but I assume it was aged. — 6 years ago
Imagine walking through a blueberry patch, munching on the freshly picked, sun-warmed blue beauties. This wine is blueberries for days, on the nose and on the palate with a mildly spicy undercurrent. Well rounded, soft tannins with a finish reminiscent of grape jelly. Paired with a strip loin and grilled veg. Enjoyed. — 6 years ago

Very good, lots of flavor! Concord grape jelly!!! But, almost too sweet, (can't believe I said that! Didn't think anything could be too sweet.) — 9 years ago
A little harsh, but tastes like peanut butter & jelly, which kind of blows my mind and makes me think my taste is off — 9 years ago
Spiced jelly and fruit leather aromas. Long, bloody, bitter almond finish. — 9 years ago
