2009. Some rich cherry liqueur from the vintage, some interesting cut grass notes in the palate along with big time fruit. Nose gives up a lot of leather--goes in different directions like Bordeaux or aged Portuguese reds with Touriga Nacional. Quite nice! — 9 years ago

Oily and beautiful. Not brimming with acidity that will shoot to the stars, but it's softer palate feel is welcomed and very pleasant to sip on. — 9 years ago
Very good white. 90% Rosanne grapes from Rhone valley in southern France. One of the better whites I have had. Medium sweetness very good flavor Had at Armas weekend. — 9 years ago
Pale gold. Nose of medium+ intensity showing stone fruits meal, oyster shell , toasty oak and leesy notes. Palate shows the same stone fruit and oak notes but all in perfect balance. Long finish. A very good wine but will cellar. Priced at $120.84. Wine of the day at WSET Level 3. — 9 years ago
2012 wow. A big rich wine with plenty of earth and fruit and a touch of funk. Thought it would be lighter. But not complaining — 11 years ago
Date night with my wife, out in DC. This was delicious. Just the right combo of stony, gravelly and mulberry, fleshy. Dry and bracing on the palate. Better with as slightly log cooked rabbit ragu than with lamb merguez. — 11 years ago

Very even keeled. No negative steely after taste. Happens to be excellent ice cold on a hot summer day. — 11 years ago

Sneaky ripe for an Hermitage. A lot of fruit right out of the gate, but as it warms/breathes...The classic tar, meat and leather starts to emerge. What a wine — 8 years ago
