I don’t know if it’s the five years of age, but it was short in the mouth despite promising beginnings. The nose was absolutely lovely. — 4 years ago
Smells bright and fruity with a bit of floral. Taste is tart but with nice flavors, maybe apricot? Complex and good alone — 6 years ago
Like my last rating apparently, this is a denser, weightier Jacquere than I am used to. I like it - just seems more into Altesse territory. Lovely fruit, melon, lemongrass, mineral finish. — 7 years ago
Wowow! I love this wine. My first 100% jaquere but certainly not my last! Delicious, crisp almost slightly effervescent. Happy day drinking wine! — 8 years ago
Before the storm! Apremont Jacquere planted in 1956, destroyed in 2019 by hail. Orchard fresh fruit salad. Stony pallet and pineapple acidity. There is a creamy character, nice little background to the fruit and mineral. Does need some air to disparate some ‘natural odors’ but I find those easy to get past. — 5 years ago
So fresh. 2012?? Apricot, watermelon rind, depth, layers. So beautiful. — 6 years ago
Tart and fresh. — 8 years ago
Lean and clean but still soft. Mouth watering acidity and crisp citrus with a fine mineral backbone. — 8 years ago
Decided I needed a little Savoie with my dinner, which led me easily to @domainedechevillardsavoie. Apples and baked apple aromas give way to a lemon pith and crushed stone that has some butterscotch emerging along with candied grapefruit. Fantastic acidity, of course. What was liquid stone in its youth is gaining some richness as it ages. So goes Jacquere in its middle age. — 4 years ago
Love! Floral, subtle dry. Delish! — 5 years ago
Wine club selection October 2019 - very good, one of Carson’s favorites, honey like and lovely — 7 years ago
A 6 for 60 pick that was quite good. Citrusy and sharp but not biting. — 8 years ago
