Last bottle of this once amazing Meursault found in a wine box where it shouldn’t have been. Would have been better 10 years ago, but still showing some of its more youthful complexity, good, no longer great. — 6 years ago
1985 Coche-Dury Meursault 'La Casse-Tete'. Crazy rare wine. Didn't show super well, but was still a great pleasure to experience. — 10 years ago

Started off a bit rough, with quite a bit of CO2, but blossomed into a beautiful, pure wine in an hour or so, and held up over three nights. The ‘incorrect’ in this case is the blend of Gamay and Chardonnay. Made by Maylis Bernard, partner of J.F. Ganevat. — 3 years ago

Last bottle of six 1990 Coche-Dury Meursaults acquired on original release from KLWM. This one is absolutely classic, piercing aromas of minerals and aged fatness, while color belies it’s age, extraordinary depth and precision and, still, freshness and complexity, finish goes on pretty much forever. Likely the very last bottle of this superb producer’s Meursault I’ll ever be privileged enough (or wealthy enough) to try, this one is an absolutely near-perfect ride, great with large Gulf Coast shrimp my wife procured today. An absolute WOW wine!!! — 5 years ago

Subtle, restrained, crystalline, mineral.
Again, devoid of the flinty reduction I expected in a wine from this producer. Just like the ‘19 I recently tasted.
