Bramble berries, Oolong tea, lavender, fennel on the finish. Chewy tannins- interesting for a Pinot. Almost more zin or Petite sirah like. Enjoyed — 3 years ago

Popped and poured. Deep ruby color with moderate staining of the tears. Developing, with a fairly becoming nose with ripe black plums, dark bramble fruit, vanilla, some pipe tobacco, some chocolate and baking spices. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannins and medium(+?) acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+. It’s really primary now but it should drink better after 2025 and through 2034. — 6 months ago
2020 vintage. Wow. Medium ruby color. Red fruit aroma. Flavors of raspberry and strawberry jam, herbal note (lovage?), some bell pepper with moderate acid, little tannin depending on the temperature. Give it a moment, it will open up after 10 minutes in your glass. — 10 months ago

Easy to drink. Had at Juniper and Ivy. — 8 years ago
This was the most Burgundian California Pinot that I’ve ever had, both the nose and on the palette. The wine would have benefited from an hour or two decant. Rich darker fruit well integrated with some tar and some earthy notes. — 8 months ago

We had this as the white wine offering at our wedding reception. — 10 months ago
2008 vintage. Had never come across the "Little Hill" until today. Light-medium body. Decanted and was fairly musty for 2-3 minutes before it started to blossom. Some blue fruit/menthol/eucalyptus throughout the experience. Demonstrative spice component on the back end. Could really only ding this on being slightly "watery" on the front palate. Otherwise, this is kicking now and has plenty of life and love to give. 5.27.23 — a year ago
Don’t always love white wines, but enjoyed this one a lot — 3 years ago
Exquisite. Balanced. Floral notes and balanced with white and pale yellow fruits. Enjoy alone or with food. Just so elegant. — 3 years ago

Truly my kind of white. Oily, dry and with a character of its own. Equally suitable w/ & w/o food: Try it w/ monkfish! 2 years celebration, 15/3-2018 — 6 years ago
