This is a very complex wine with the smell of tobbacco and woodsmoke and the taste of blackberry, coffee and black pepper — 5 years ago

Very nice to drink. Perfect balance of sweet and dry. Light flavor, could be a little stronger. Perfect to drink as is, might be too sweet for mimosas. Ivan likes a lot as well (8). — 8 years ago

A semi-sweet young wine, very fresh and light-bodied. It tastes like actual grapes. — 5 years ago
Sv. Ivan is a dessert wine with a long-lasting and intense taste, a sweet wine with a rich body dominated by aromas of dried fruit, plums and figs. Very soft, buttery and creamy. — 5 years ago
Great notes of sweet fruit up front on the palate, a great Pinot Grigio. Reminds me why this is one of my favorite wines! — 6 years ago
My first Croatian?! Interesting to say the least, the biotryus/noble rot easily identifiable; petrol, beeswax, but without the viscosity.Kinda cool. — 7 years ago

If you like the local variety - žlahtina, you have to try this sparkling wine made from the same grape. It's as fresh and as light as the still version but the bubbles add an extra layer. — 5 years ago
Shared with Ivan at The Norfolk Arms Pub in London. soft, juicy, warm. — 5 years ago

Manzoni Bianco? Sure, why not. Banana, lemon and lime, pineapple, honeydew melon (reminds me of the Italian Macedonia salad). Acidity is high, and it works with the fruit. Some green herbal notes. Not bad, not expensive. — 10 years ago
