Lovely with roast chicken. — 10 years ago
Excellent depth. Went beautifully with a delicate smoked salmon and then a fabulous veal osso bucco — 10 years ago
Baked apples, wax, lingering salinity and nuttiness. Medium acidity. Quite pleasurable and complex. Perhaps more acidity would make it brighter. Overall, a great non-oxidized Jura. — 11 years ago
Earthy, mineral nose. Smooth but bold on the tongue. Very nice. — 12 years ago
Wow. Syrah exactly the way it should be. So delicious! — 13 years ago
Bloody good. It had to be as it cost the price of a small duchy.
I have a whole bottle of this greatness with me. Not a good idea.
Taste is sort of dry, not sweet and not bitter...all in equal mix. Taste of lots of stuff. It's been through different cask apparently. Bourbon, Madeira, Port...
Lovely aroma. Doesn't come to hit you right back. — 9 years ago
This is getting more complex with age. Dark fruits, smokiness, some cloves. Really nice. — 10 years ago
The pale golden straw color is appealing, while the nose certainly isn’t scaring anyone away. Clean earth notes define the apple, papaya and lime aromas beautifully. The palate shows off-dry pear, apple and Meyer lemon flavors on a bed of acidity. Finishing long, it’s the earth and citrus that stays around after the sip. The wine’s body makes it a lot more versatile that just “salads and sipping.” Winemaker Markus Niggli recommends you pair it with anything off the grill. — 10 years ago
Roses and lychee. This vintage had more citrus pith as well. — 10 years ago
My first Bacchus wow, aromatic grassy but with tropical hints. Very well executed — 11 years ago
Also get the Chardonnay — 11 years ago

Really great trousseau. — 9 years ago
Smooth and smoky, from the Isle of Skye. Another one of the whiskies we tasted at the November Old Line Scotch Club meeting. #talisker #tenyear #whisky #oldlinescotchclub — 10 years ago
Crisp apple flavor on the finish. Yum! — 10 years ago
I consider this a more full bodied wine. Typically a Cab drinker but this Merlot was quite good. Strong plum and cranberry flavors with a bit of a peppery finish. Alcohol content seems high with half glass consumed! Surprised that I am enjoying this one as much as I am. — 10 years ago
Light & BRIGHT with mildly flinty nose--- tons of beach plum jelly & tart raspberry candy on the palate---gentle yet present grip. Gulp-able & legit fun. Fine companion to fatty duck. — 10 years ago
Great easy red for all occasions — 11 years ago
Absolutely stunning. Great vintage. Mostly Bacchus vineyard. One of my favorite cabs ever. — 11 years ago
Love the new trend of rosè — 11 years ago
Tastes better when drunk in London with your brother in law — 11 years ago
Amarone cask finished? So silky & sexy that it's almost not Scotch.
