Great value! Got it from fantastic Spanish restaurant and store in Williamsburg—La Tienda. — 7 years ago
Thank you to my good friend Andy Bunch for bringing this beer to try tonight. A rare treat for sure. Took a while to open up, bit man, it’s hitting its stride a couple hours later with notes of semi sweet chocolate, espresso liquor, brownie batter, vanilla, toasted nuts and almond oil. A rich brew with a 15%+ ABV. Black as old motor oil and super mouth coating. Yum yum yum. — 7 years ago
Super tasty!
Love the stout coffee notes and vanilla! — 8 years ago
The standard expression is very good, but the barrel aged version is out of this world amazing. I was only able to get my hands on one can so I won't be able to asses how it ages, but even young it is exceptional. — 9 years ago
Holy grail. All time top 5. — 9 years ago
Mushrooms in mocha, brown rice, caramel-y citrus with Bing cherry, soy sauce, and beef ribbons tease the nose. Happy to see less candy and soda in a beer. Soy sauce, molasses, baker's chocolate, oak, cedar, and cinnamon with allspice. Great! The sour is at the end but buoys the whole. — 10 years ago
This 'un's called the King of the East Coast IPAs. Lots of malt balanced against the hops. Quite delicious. — 6 years ago
Good value Mencia. Plums (almost prunes) and violets on the nose. Cooked dark berry jam and beef jerky flavors on the pallet. Rugged but acceptable tannin structure. Smokey finish. Good QPR. — 7 years ago

Great bargain wine at Costco. — 8 years ago
Pours a thick dark black with almost no head. Chocolate, vanilla, coffee, molasses, and bourbon all playing nicely with each other with no one flavor overpowering the others. A very nice barrel aged stout. — 9 years ago
Don't get any on your clothes. This shit is dark. Dark fruit aroma. A flavor bomb of coffee, licorice, chocolate, and muscovado. The mouthfeel is like you're eating a piece of fudge. Most excellent. 12% abv $4.00 16oz can Chucks Hop Shop — 9 years ago
Good flavor, not too much rye but definitely there. Hearty imperial, very full-bodied. — 10 years ago

2017 Bravo - Imperial Brown Ale
Deep caramel brown with light brown head. Dark nose with caramelized brown sugar, molasses, and honey with a little heat. Can tell it's a a high alcohol level get drunk from just smelling it. A little creamy and syrupy too. Full bodied and long finish. Could easily go with some dessert. — 9 years ago
A very strong stout for a snowy night! Coziness in a bottle! — 9 years ago
