Y’all probably know by now that I’m a fan of rosé. Anytime, anywhere, with any food. It’s one of the most satisfying wines around. But I’m kind of picky when it comes to rosé. It’s gotta have energy. It’s gotta have lift. It’s gotta have ACIDITY. While I might catch some flak for this, I’m just gonna say it. There is no surer bet in the world of pink wine than Corsican rosé. I’ve never met one I didn’t like. Hell, I’ve never met one where I didn’t immediately want a second bottle. So whenever it crosses my path, I grab it. By the glass, by the bottle, by the case. This little beauty (from the Isle of Beauty, no less) was made by Eric Poli, and comes from organically farmed (uncertified) vines on the east side of the island near Eric’s hometown. Made from Sciaccarellu, an indigenous red to the island that makes just stunningly bright rosés. Citrus skin, strawberry, dried flowers and grapefruit are layered over wet stone minerality that is just gorgeous. — 3 years ago

Great value! This tastes fresh. Note the most dry rosé, more like off-dry. Strong minerality balanced out with notes of melon and apricot — 5 years ago
Good tannin, fruit and spice. Almost N Rhone like. Delicious. — 7 years ago
Sea spray to blood oranges...kaleidoscopic! Grand Cru in weight and texture. Long, complex acid finish. One of my white wines of the year! #biancugentile #corsica #leccia — 8 years ago
Recommended by the waiter at Maison Fournaise on the Ile de Impressionists in Chatou..... the site of the “Luncheon of the Boating Party”. excellent body at temperature. Good cheery forward with a pleasant non dominating finish. Draws you to the next sip. — 6 years ago

This is for the rouge, which was not listed. Lovely vanilla and baking spices on the nose. Very unique! A bit of tannin, but not too much so. On the palate I can't identify a specific thing, but maybe some dark fruits. Wow, never had these grapes before and they are so different than the traditional ones we are familiar with (GSM, for example). Love this! — 2 years ago
