I must admit I am a PR addict and long standing club member BUT...we ordered this with dinner tonight and were pleasantly reminded of the bright citrus notes with a hint of sweet - perfect with spicy crab po'boys — 12 years ago
With a fresh, herbal nose, and flavors of lemon grass and dill, this GrüV has a touch of starfruit and grapefruit, with a pinch of pepper. It was waxy on the lips, which cut through the bite that can make some Grüners sharp around the edges. The mouthfeel was quilted down, light and bright like fresh laundry hung dry on the line. I would want to drink this during a simple lunch of bagels and lox, with a slather of cream cheese, onions and a couple capers. Throw in a picnic blanket, and color me content #GrüV #Arnold #HastaLaVistaBaby — 11 years ago
Honey and melon and mint undertones. Unusual d'Yquem - missing the smooth creaminess I am accustomed to. Great but different. — 12 years ago
I paid $20 for this bottle at an auction. I opened this bottle in 7/6/13 and it still has the classic st julien aroma. It has the structure and is a well balanced wine. I am very impressed by how well it holds up for 16 yrs. — 13 years ago
Very well crafted Pinot. Nice fruit but does not over power the earth tones. I am becoming a real fan of Hirsch Pinots. Time to get on the mailing list. — 11 years ago
I am fucking drinking Opus One with Peter Cherukuri. I can die now. — 12 years ago
I volunteer to do the Raffault vertical. (I am so brave) — 12 years ago
Velvety smooth. Paired really well with the beanie weenies I made for my anniversary dinner. — 13 years ago

I'm going to come clean, I'm not a huge Caymus fan. It's by no means a bad wine - far from it - but I've always felt they blend their Cab with too much Zin. I could be wrong on that account, but I don't think I am. Still, a nice brooding nose of dark red and blue fruit, with a touch of candied fruit and wet earth. — 11 years ago
