Good desert wine - tart and sweet — 8 years ago
We are so pleased to welcome Horton Norton back to our table. This was a young, 2014 Norton, and given about 30 minutes to open up, it really was lovely. Fruit up front, gorgeous color, plum and tart cherry flavor. Wow. Was AMAZING with a beef and butternut squash stew. — 9 years ago
Very nice desert wine from what I remember — 10 years ago
Not bad. Fairly oaky Chardonnay. Hints of caramel and butterscotch. Creamy finish. — 10 years ago
Nice nose with dark red with slight red as it is not nearly browning of the edges, medium to full body with some complexity and a fairly short aftertaste. I give it. 90. I noticed that Vivino says it is carignon, Grenache & Mourvèdre, which makes sense, as it is not nearly as full or as complex as the 1992 Horton Mourvèdre 89%/Syrah, which was surprising. — 7 years ago
Very smooth. Really enjoyed this bottle. — 8 years ago
I rally liked it, tasted of nice blueberries. Jen also liked it. Others thought it was disgusting. I would try the raspberry and strawberry for sure! — 9 years ago
Apple, lemon, honey, slate, hay and dried apricot. Good acidity and balance. — 9 years ago
A nice blush. Good sipping wine. Would buy again. A bit on the sweet side. — 9 years ago
Slightly effervescent, sweet up front with a dry finish — 10 years ago
Blackberry, cassis, loamy earth, mocha, oak and vanilla. Good structure and well-integrated tannins. — 10 years ago
Browning edges, but a lovely nose and a full-bodied complex & lovely body with along aftertaste. I rated this better than the 1988 Vieux Telegaphe, which was not as full or as complex& with less integrated acid. This is a wonderful wine that blew my mind! — 7 years ago
Floral with white peach and intensely exotic melon; quite a robust body; clean medium acidity and well-developed mouthfeel. Great value! — 7 years ago

Sweet and refreshing on a hot summer day. I'd be interested to see if the sweetness backs off a bit when the wine warms to room temperature, but it's hard to not keep sipping away until it's gone.... — 9 years ago
An excellent red blend. Shell wasn't a fan, but man I love it. Has a complex flavor while not being too sweet. A definite do-over for me. — 9 years ago
