Big hop sweet malt, east coast IPA spot on, earthy, grassy, nice hop profile, lot of hops, but again the malt is so sweet, even outs the hop, this is a great example of a east coast IPA, nice, very good — 8 years ago

For a Belgium Ale it doesn't get much better. Fantastic. #beer #belgianbeer #ale #belgium — 8 years ago
I look forward to this beer every year. By far the best mass production ipa made. The perfect amount of bitter hops. — 9 years ago
Delicious and well balanced with pleasantly fruity aromas and flavors. Finish is long but not overpowering. Balance is the watchword here. — 9 years ago
Big hype about this beer, as is "Hop Slam" this one much easy to get, in fact, in CA you can get in many places all the time, price is reasonable too, just check the bottled or canned on dates since it travels far, solid IPA, really nothing new or different, just done very well in the style, if you like your IPA's balanced between malt and hops, like Dogfish then this is perfect fit you, not for me, I prefer the hops be the "Show" but I am not knocking the Beer for that, just I think it is a little over rated — 8 years ago

Sessionable IPA. — 8 years ago
Wow! This was very much in the style of a northern Rhone, with herby aromas and flavors of bacon fat and minerals. It evolved nicely throughout the evening. What a balance between fruit and herbs! This went amazingly well with rosemary garlic rib eye. — 8 years ago
Unbelievable Pinot. Complex and smooth — 9 years ago
