Nelson Sauvin and cascade hops. Ultra dry. — 10 years ago
Didier. Holy shit this was good barnyard. This makes me want to play with pigs on the mud. Carignon young has that red raspberry that's hard to replicate. Yum and bio whatever. This wine rocks. — 11 years ago
At 12% alc....holy mackerel what fruit!!! A plethora of plum skin and sweet cassis erupt in your brain, wrapped in caramel with flecks of dark chocolate, doused in aged balsamic. Talk about hedonistic, it's no wonder parker loves this vintage, large-scaled sweet cassis swimming pool of a palate, ultra rich and long...quite opiate-like in its generous overloading of easy pleasure. This will be saturated in fruit for a long time, its around middle age now. A sheer pleasure, however I'd have preferred some more complexity, but that's personal taste. Decadent like a banana split ice cream! — 11 years ago
Excellent brown ale, not as big and bold as a porter or stout, but not supposed to be. — 11 years ago

Holy moly. — 12 years ago
A dense glass-staining purple, the '06 Charles Smith Syrah 'Royal City' is a monumental wine. Big, pungent aromas of game, truffles, black olives and dried fruits exploded from the glass. Complex, but still seamlessly balanced. The tastes stayed on the palate for a seemingly infinite length of time. Simply wonderful! — 12 years ago
The holy shit we bought a fucking house bottle of wine. — 10 years ago
Let me begin by saying holy hell what a wine!!! Incredibly memorable. Gorgeously aromatic, dried meat and spice, dried tobacco, bright red fruit, great acidity. Tons of life left. What a wine... — 11 years ago
Toffee, rich bitter notes of dark roasted coffee....high acid malty. 6oz is enough — 11 years ago
Holy S^*t!!! — 11 years ago
Reddish purple in the glass with aromas of cinnamon, cola nut and strawberries. Fresh and juicy with great acidity; the front palate hits with black cherry, tart cranberry and more baking spices. The mid palate carries some woody, earthy notes that finish with black tea, porcini mushrooms and fine grained, silky tannins. — 12 years ago
