Superb!!! Dried Figs, Apricot, honey, and flower. A nice level of sweetness and tartness…kind of like baked apples. Great with our cheese on the beach. — 2 years ago
Besides having a great, cool label - Herman Story wines are so spectacular. This is not your standard “red blend” & the Tempranillo/Petit Verdot give a great complexity. Easily paired w/ a huge range of food. — 3 years ago
Smooth and mineral-y and delicious. Unfiltered but not gritty. — 5 years ago
This is a beautiful wine that's sweet but certainly not cloying. The color is deep golden and the nose offers dried apricots and honey. The sweetness is more pronounced on the palate, but a zippy acidity balances the experience perfectly. The wine finishes long and satisfyingly. — 6 years ago
Very sweet but not overtly cloying. Lots of custardy lemon & honey. Effervescent acidity in the end — 7 years ago
Beautiful fruit, hint of acacia honey (however not sweet) and a superb acidity. Super versatile. Bravo @Charles Puglia you rock! — 9 years ago
This lovely wine comes off as only off dry due to the very high acidity. Well structured with medium body and a silky texture
Loads of lemon, green apple, pear, wet stone, Melon, acacia, pineapple, white pepper and beginning to show tertiary characters like honey, baked apple
Very good quality and will last for years. — 9 months ago
Fabulous bouquet. Deep, rich, and full- bodied. Silky smooth, sexy, and elegant. Citrus, honey, and mandarin, with a bit of toasted almond and pear. Stunning! — 2 years ago
Medium gold, heavy in the glass. Awesome aged Raveneau nose. Notes of citrus, kimmeridgian white stone and light colored dirt, some honey, some spice. Great mouth feel, with acidity that powered up over 4-5 hours. Awesome with some angel hair pasta and shrimp, looking out over the Kohala Coast. — 3 years ago
Yellow apple, pear, quince, lychee, mandarin orange marmalade, white flowers, honey suckle, all spice. Very nice acidity, making we want to come back for more. The golden hue, this stuff is outrageous. — 6 years ago
Tangy green fruits, orange, hints of almond, marzipan, and honey with a long, dry finish. Somewhat floral on the nose. Lots going on on the nose and on the palate. $15-ish at Costco. — 7 years ago
Honey comb, lilac, and a touch of oxidative nuttiness #vouvray #loire #cheninblanc — 8 years ago
Lively lemon zest aroma, honey, and touches of age. Round and rich, minimal acidity. — 9 years ago
Honey on toast straight off the bat, walnut oil and a very light touch of twiglet makes me think this isn't in the greatest shape but shows some great complexity. In the mouth there is snappy red apple skin from the off though the mouthfeel is rather thin, sleek on the finish with plenty of class. — 9 years ago

Ad-hoc, great wine w cheese, honey and hazelnut flavor — 11 years ago
My first time drinking a white wine from Lopez De Heredia and it’s unlike any wine I’ve ever had before. Very fragrant and a lot of different tastes coming to the forefront. Bruised apple, quince, beeswax and honey. Some almond, slight oxidation and salinity like a fino sherry. This is a big and unusual wine. Not something I would drink daily, but enjoyed it as much on a taste as on an intellectual level. — 2 years ago
Light gold. Looks young. Took 5 hours to open up and show its stuff. In hour 6 this was cruising. Saline and sea shells, wispy lemon fruit, some honey, some white stone. The guesses from the fellas were 2002 Rav Clos and 1996 Rav Valmur. Shows how these properly stored aged Raveneaus can age effortlessly. — 4 years ago
Peachy honey, and minerality. Integrated acidity and good structured. Paired perfectly with the slightly creamy squid ink fusilli with suckling pig confit and clams. — 6 years ago
One of the reasons we always make a trip out to Klein Constantia is for the Vin de Constance. Deep golden yellow with a fragrant nose of honeysuckle, honeycomb and white flowers. Heavy acidity (7/10) and full bodied. Well balanced and rich on the palate with notes of ginger, honey, orange marmalade. Not overly cloye which is nice. Long and lingering finish. Drink till 2037. — 6 years ago
Sweet awesome No Alcoholic aftertaste when chilled properly — 8 years ago
Half-bottle. The wine was medium amber in colour and offered orange peel, apple, honeycomb, caramel, smoke, spices, sherry and a mouldy note on the nose. On the palate the wine showed orange, peach, apple, cane sugar, caramel, smoke, spices, creamy honey, some coffee, a hint of chocolate, sherry, mild black tea and a mouldy note, paired with medium-plus acidity, a creamy honey mouthfeel and very good length. Judged by this half-bottle the wine has just passed its plateau and started its slow journey on the downward slope. A good, medium-bodied Sauternes with lots of botrytis character. Drink now. 89 — 10 years ago
