Wow! Knocks your socks off with a velvet hammer! This is your (and mine) Malbec that you need to try without moving to Argentina. Don't cry for me! — 8 years ago
Hector and I had this wine in a nice Italian Restaurant in Bad Soden, Taunus. While it commences dry it will evolve into a nice and complex taste. We drank this wine with a full Italian meal starting with asparagus soup, cold and ended in a fish plate. It worked out. — 8 years ago

So so, I generally don't think it's a compliment when someone says "you know this is a good example of this because I don't even like the style, and I love this one". Generally, it means it's not a very good example of the product in question. In this case though, this one is really well-made, and I hate Gewurztraminer, and because of that, I absolutely hate this one. But wow, it's really impressive, has everything I'm looking for, we're not looking for, and is super aromatic and spot on. — 9 years ago

Hector Durigutti and his wine — 11 years ago
Beautiful dark crimson red, slightly cloudy. Awesome nose of very good intensity, and a beautiful array of fruity and exotic aromas. Shoe polish and cherry cola primary aromas. Secondary scents of manure dark chocolate or cocoa. Very good presence upon entrance in the palate, with tanginess in the tip of the tongue that evolves marvelously, showing great grip, very pleasant acidity, good balance, great length, and complexity to fill it up, and coat you palate, leaving you with a very long finish, and sensations of chocolate covered cherries, and then cocoa beans and expresso flavors at the end. This is not an entry-level wine by any means. It is complex, intriging, very food worthy, and beautiful. Well made, well designed wine, with good harmony, great grip, and long, sweet tannins. 92+ pts. — 12 years ago
