Delicious Rosé from HdV! — 11 years ago
14' HDV Hyde Comandante Chardonnay. These are the best 2/3 barrels each year.
Decanted it also for an hour. Light golden in color. It taste very much like a great Grand Cru. Martin your spot on. More tropical then citrusy. So much going on in this wine. What pops- peach, honeysuckle , sweet tarts. Very lengthy finish .This chard has a LONG life in front of it. Consumed it close to room temperature. 😍just a kick- ass chardonnay. It's only going to get better with a little more time in the bottle. If you're fortunate enough to have some, try it the middle of next year. — 9 years ago
Expected more, but it was still solid. — 9 years ago
Someone already said it but totally agree with plum and mocha on this bad bay. Went well with pork roast and cauliflower dish. Big HdV fan so far — 9 years ago

Compared two Hyde sourced grapes - Carneros. The Ramey '12 and HDV '11. Ramey was lovely, with a bit of a buttery finish. HDV préfères as it has less butter and a slightly more acidic balance. Both beautiful. — 9 years ago
