Excellent wine even for people who do not love sweet wines. Absolutely recommended. Try it if you can! — 8 years ago
Quite light, with nice aromatics of dried cherries and herbs. Good grip, juicy tannins, nice length and lovely complexity. — 9 years ago
Tannins still going strong, fruit fading, but plum skins on the finish. — 9 years ago
This is almost same quality and taste that I loved about Grumello. Beautifully balanced Tuscany wine. Bright, raisin, raspberry, soil, earthy, woody, light to medium note. Much more fruit forward. Nice with any type of food really — 10 years ago
Medelfyllig. Ganska polerad av fat. Trevlig. — 4 years ago
blend of sassella and grumello vineyard. Acid, structures are well balanced and very fine. More dense minerality, fruit, good structure than Arpepe rosso. Amazing. — 5 years ago
Still fresh in spite of a little oak sweetness, fluid commercial style — 7 years ago
Flavorful but airy light. Very delightful and close to grumello. — 8 years ago

100% Nebbiolo grape and beautifully balanced. Medium body with full of flavours of Tuscany. For the price of Nebbiolo this is excellent unsung wine. — 10 years ago
Powerful for a Valtellina, and a little on the austere side. Mature nose shows chokecherry and leather, mahogany scents, along with lots of crushed rock. Intense but lean in the mouth, with zingy acidity and zippy crisp cherry and lots of minerality. Still a bit of puckery tannin. My brother brought this back from Italy a few years ago for me. Grazie! — 4 years ago

Blend of 20% Riservas from Sasella, Grumello, Inferno and Valgela with 20% Sfursat.
Amazingly complex nose full of cherries, lilies, spices, leather, herbs, a whiff of mint. Very youthful and without any evolved aromas. Midweight on the palate with impeccable balance, juicy acidity, a still firm, dusty tannic grip and a finish that goes on and on. Wow! What a wine. — 7 years ago

Still showing fruit and not in decline, which is amazing. Doesn't share the complexity of the prunotto, and a leaner style overall. — 11 years ago

Tonight the Grumello was better, but still this was very good. More firm and structured than the Grumello, but lacked the aromatics that I was hoping for! — 4 years ago
