Really interesting remember having this variety when Heitz Vineyard used to produce one of the few domestic producer - but this one from Asti is really interesting (reminds me of Pineau d’Aunis from the Loire ) beautiful rose petal nice cherry candied fruit in the mouth with some grip ( it is 2018 vintage) very light color (almost rose) — 5 years ago

A bit richer, rounder and more relaxed, still authentic, refined and restrained — 6 years ago
Ruby red with pink hue. Fresh muddled strawberry and raspberry with stem attached to it. Hint of bubble gum, mint and tarragon on the nose. Med plus to high acidity, mineral, dry with med to med plus tannin. A food rose to enjoy with Mexican food such as chicken and beef tacos. — 7 years ago

Enjoyable, mineral and a tad dry. Unique. Sort of fruit start that quickly fades away. — 6 years ago
A nice light red for those not quite ready for fall. Easy drinking. Goes with most food. Would share with friends. — 6 years ago

Kaitlin is a thin skinned grape. Why do you need to know who I'm drinking with? Nosy. — 7 years ago
Love this unique wine! Tea leaves, peppercorn, and current on the nose. Prickly up front and tannic with bitterness that's rare to fine in a wine. The bitterness is ultimately smoothed out by light acidity. Bright, cherry red color. Would definitely buy again and share with others! — 7 years ago

Quite light bodied with a lot of rosé character. Very light tannins and pretty acid forward. Cranberry and strawberry, granite and steel, dried violet, some citrus zest. From Fermented Grapes. — 6 years ago
Pale garnet, aromas of cranberry, strawberry, cough syrup, cedar, and black cherry. Dry, high acid, medium + tannins, medium + body, palate full of woodsy and red fruit notes, a little herbaceousness. Medium + finish. Delicious served slightly cold with grilled salmon. — 7 years ago
