Delicious Cotes-Du-Rhône. 2016 vintage. Still great the 2nd night! $15.75 @ Zupan’s. — 8 years ago
In a great spot right now. Great balance of fruit, tannin and acidity. A full bodied wine. Thanks for sharing Dave! — 9 years ago
Solid CDP. Great vintage. — 9 years ago
My first Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Baking spices, mineral and blackberry. Great tannins and peppery finish. #Châteauneuf-du-Pape #cuvéeanonyme — 10 years ago
Caramel on the nose. Dark berries and a long finish on the palate. Great Chateau-neuf. — 11 years ago
Great length and finesse coupled with rasp and blueberries. Detect an aromatically "wet" quality maybe from cement aging. Perfect way to end the flight! Thank you Sophie :) — 12 years ago
Decanted for approximately 40 minutes. Blend of Syrah, Grenache, and a smidgen of Mourvèdre. The best vintage of this I think I’ve had. Generous with the red and black fruits, soft but firming tannins on the back end and posses a long finish. Great structure and balance. Surprised that I found a vintage of this age for a basic CDR at a grocery store and it is showing really well. Fantastic QPR. $14 @ H-E-B. — 8 years ago
Single parcel just outside the CNDP appellation boundary. High-toned aromas, structured CDR with elevated yet ripe tannin. Kirsch, powdered sugar, lavender, stoney minerality, sweet spice. Great value, approachable — 9 years ago
2007 is a great year. Sumptuous, but this bottle was very pruney. — 10 years ago
Delicious. Drank at juniper and ivy for Xmas eve. Dirty, earthy, great with wild boar. — 11 years ago

Refined and masculine but not imposing plus great depth — 12 years ago
True knockout! Powerful, dense, opulent, exotic-- I can think of many superlatives to describe the 2005. Simply a bombastic and unapologetic wine with loads of fruit and great tension, this flooded my palate with power and complexity. This has at least another 10 years of superb drinking in store, it almost pains me that we opened it so young but it was an absolute delight to drink with braised duck and lamb meatballs. A top-notch vintage from a true master of the Southern Rhone. Well worth seeking out, you can confidently hold this vintage for several more years. — 8 years ago
Great summer wine serve chilled with A beautiful woman — 9 years ago
Perfect time to pull from the cellar, still has great acidity, red fruit, and leather. Medium body with fantastic length. — 9 years ago
Intense aromas of bacon, dried black fig, black cherry, licorice, smokiness, lots of black peppers....definitely dried fruit driven aromas. med body, med plus acidity, med p intensity, moderate plus amount of spiciness comes with delicious black fruit and oak tannins-which are melted perfectly delicously at this moment-, moderate tannins, layer of bitterness and driness on the end...Great glass wine, that can be paired with lamb chop with touch of salsa spiciness, 깐풍기!!! Yum! — 10 years ago
