Il Molino di Grace ‘Il Margone’ Chianti Classico Gran Selezione DOCG 2013: Medium-body. Lively acidity. Strong beautiful tannins that soften & improve after opening. On the nose, bright red fruits, plum & herbs and on the palate, dark fruits, earth, vanilla, tobacco & oak. Nice lingering finish. Great week to all! Cheers🍷 — 4 years ago
Burst of ripe fruits with hint of Tabasco, opens up very quick, taste of chocolate, beautiful wine by itself — 5 years ago
Close to a Chassagne Montrachet — 7 years ago
Softer, rounded black fruits than in July. Blue fruits are starting to show a bit more. Cherry chocolate follows. Soft black earthiness with a touch of soft minerals. Light vanilla presence and medium barrel toast come out on the soft elegant finish. Good acidity is the one lacking element in their 08. It's off just a bit. 9.3-9.4 with the Ribcap steak...Michael Mina's-Bourbon Steak. — 10 years ago

100% Cabernet Franc Rose’. Beautiful light salmon color. Pronounced mineral on the nose and pallet with hints of watermelon and a bit of dark cherry, strawberry and citrus. A little bit of pepper spice. Medium tangy acidity and a crunchy texture. A small amount of heft but still light bodied. Very “Loire-like.” Revisited in June 2020. Nice! — 3 years ago
Nice red wine from Finger Lakes. Smooth and velvety, a little fruit, a little wood. Easy to sip and pairs well with cheese. — 3 years ago
Rich tropical fruit intertwines with grapefruit, lemon and candied lime peel. — 3 years ago
What can I say I love anything Angela makes, and the new Tribute to Grace tasting room in Los Alamos is a gem. My Dad declared this was his favorite wine ever and my mom is from nearby Cucamonga, so let’s just say everyone was happy. For that reason, wine of our trip out west after not seeing the folks for 18 months. As always, just incredibly elegant Grenache, light on its feet, but not without its nuanced power — 4 years ago

Earth, leather on the nose. Really nice tannins. A winner. — 12 years ago
Bright ruby red color. Bountiful aromas of red berries and dried violets. Pallet is full of strawberry and raspberry fruit with hints of black tea, baking spices, earth and pepper spice. Just a bit of a “gamey” quality as well. Nice hint of oak on the clean finish. Fine tannins and bright acidity. Creamy texture. Rich and nicely rounded. Absolutely a “California-Style” Pinot Noir. Nice choice, Mark Smith. — 3 years ago
Crisp and not overly dry or fruity. Very tasty and reasonable — 3 years ago

The ‘Grace Vineyard’ Pinot Noir is a barrel selection from this exceptional site in the Dundee Hills AVA. The aromas are intoxicating right out of the gate, as this warm vintage Pinot Noir is not needing a long decant. Rose water, ripe red plums, strawberry puree and guava aromas all combine with lovely earthy and wet rock nuances that all are woven together in the beautifully glass. Exuding sheer class on the palate, this gorgoeus Pinot Noir slowly unveils ripe red fruits that mingle with minerals, potpourri, exotic spices and shades of wild blackberry jam. The silky texture entices and adds to this wonderful drinking experience. Fantastic in its youth, the Grace Vineyard Pinot Noir will shows wonderful promise for an exceedingly long evoloution ahead. This is a gorgeous Cabernet Sauvignon based Bordeaux blend from Napa Valley.
Showing nice balance and a great mouthfeel. Round and rich. Elegant and smooth.
This 22 year old still has a lot of power in it, and will continue to age nicely in the next 5 to 10 years.
Good right out of the bottle, and better after 2 hours of airtime.
So soft and powerful, with a great nose. This is a gorgeous wine right now.
