I am loving the colors..beautiful ruby red fades into some bricking leading to a clear rim.
Excited to find a 10 year Pinot at my local grocery wine dept! 🤙 Cork was bit of a challenge, surprisingly no sediment.
Nothing to jump up & down about but I am enjoying where this wine is ...in it's evolution. Favors a chill, presents w/ baking spices (cardamom) vanilla and raspberry preserve. — 2 years ago
Sabred this lovely bottle! Love the Blanc de Blanca from #GloriaFerrer . Crisp and refreshing but still textured with tight bubbles. Citrus is balanced with brioche notes.

Enjoyed this aromatic Sauvignon Blanc. Ripe stone fruit and easy to drink — 4 years ago
Deep rich purple in color. Mustiness on open that blew off over 20 minutes. Earth, grilled meat, with a layer of stewed strawberry vanilla on top, the remaining wood component will continue to convert to tertiary flavors with additional age. Dry with medium acidity, medium plus alcohol, medium plus tannins, with a lengthy finish with a lingering chalky white pepper. This wine is excellent and will improve.
This was my 2nd bottle and review of this wine. The notes are fairly consistent but the mustiness was not present in the first. Interesting.

We recently pulled some cases out of storage, which haven't seen the light of day for nearly 15 years, so I'll have some fun posts in the next several months.
Nose has split oak firewood (barely seasoned), cigar box, moist cedar shavings, blackberry, dried black currant, dried roses, fresh violets, moist leather, dried lavender dark chocolate powder and graphite pencil shavings.
Palate has chocolate covered blackberry, tarry black cherry, cedar sawdust, dark chocolate bark, prune, anise candy, clay pot and leather. Very long finish, subtle tannins exist still, amazing wine!
Cork pulled, 2h rest, then decanted 6h, a perfect bottle, still young, future bottles may be 2023-30, without concern.

Perfect pair to homemade burgers from a local farmer in Columbia Co. NY (Kinderhook Farm), cooked to a beautiful medium-rare served on toasted brioche burger rolls. — 4 years ago
Earthy but smooth tannins. Old world value. James Suckling 91 Pts maybe later with more air. But then I am not really calibrated today after just finishing 31 dry days. It’s good to be back. — 5 years ago

Bold flavors with a smooth finish. Excellent and delicious. — 4 years ago
Deep garnet in color with lots of body, this Pinot drinks more like a Cab. Finished smooth with aromas of burnt cassis and licorice. — 4 years ago

Sipping Fine Wine
Great Value from a 6 region blend, deep Ruby with aromas of dark red fruits, spice, herbal and floral notes. On the palate flavors of blueberry and blackberry with licorice, pepper, floral and oak. Fine soft tannins, lively acidity, medium(+) finish ending with fruit, subtle oak and savory spice. Nice!! A Fav! — 7 months ago
