Smoke, salt and vanilla. Gentle and greasy on the tip of the tongue. — 4 years ago

A couple of years ago when Nova Scotia wines made their debut here at the wine festival, I tasted a lot with mixed results and put away a few bottles. I opened this one not expecting too much, but it was amazingly refreshing alongside a plate of ravioli with a bacony tomato sauce. Tropical flavors. Full of life. — 7 years ago
Crisp, dry and well crafted. Nice Riesling with hints of peaches and flowers. Some tropical fruits on the pallet. Loads of acidity. Solid effort. — 8 years ago
My last bottle from the defunct yet memorable winery.
Smells so delicious, like a fruit yogurt
This drinks like it is fresh, with blackberry bramble, subtle and unique red fruits tucked behind the leather ones.
Tannins are still very gripping, and the acidity tames it back. A touch of heat and its off to the races! — 3 years ago
Absolutely amazing wine, well rounded with a vanilla finish. Lawwd!!! — 6 years ago

Wonderful citrus profile and requisite verve. Another exceptional vintage for Jeff White!! At $25, what a great VA value! — 7 years ago
It's alive! — 8 years ago
So not much has changed in 3 yrs since first trying this in the tasting room. The profile is lean and linear. 69 CS 16 Merlot and the rest PV. This clearly the weakest build of Jeff’s run of left bank builds. The 2014 was classic, so not huge numbers for the CS. THE TEXTURE IS LOVELY though. ;) 90+ for sure, keeping the streak ALIVE!! — 4 years ago
Remarkable how well this held up for nine years… 50% cab sauv, 36% PV, 14% merlot....Smart blending considering the wet end to the vintage – as much acid as possible (this was the second label wine from old vines… Before T.Ruth was born the next year). Classic Glen Manor concentration of flavor, just in a lighter weight package. This was my last bottle and I knew it was on the downward slope. Glad we enjoyed it when we did Dash it was a testament to Jeff white quality in the vineyard and deft touch in the cellar :) — 5 years ago
Love this wine, so smooth, white pepper and ripe fruit. — 7 years ago
Pleasant aperitif. Moscato style presumably from Muscat grape, but varietals in blend not specified. A low alcohol (7.5), little sweet and little sparkling, fruit-forward wine. — 7 years ago
with lam and jon in oakland. September 19,2017 — 8 years ago
Nova Scotia terroir. Zesty lemon on the nose. Crisp, slightly off-dry with subtle minerality. — 9 years ago

Shows a little of the bell pepper aromas that I often found in older Sonoma Cabs, but nicely balanced fruit that is still quite youthful, tannins have mostly receded, drinking quite well tonight, bravo Patrick for making this gem!! — 2 years ago
