A fierce red wine with aromas of black cherry and vanilla spice followed by rich flavors of bold black cherry cola (for those new generations) and blueberry, with a lovely finish of chocolate spice. Excellent for paellas, grilled meats, hearty stews.

We had this wine at the Girl and the Fig in Sonoma with flounder. The flounder paired very well with this wine. The dish encompassed soft silkie whipped potatoes with spinach and a slightly crispy flounder which was tender inside. This complimented the dish very well.
