This 1997 Cline ZIN was unbelievable!! The age has perfected it! — 11 years ago
I cannot believe Valdicava was pouring their spectacular 2001 Brunello! Arguably the best vintage of the century, we will see if 2010 can live up to the comparison. Dare I say the wine was still too young? After 14 years, it's still a monster. Powerful, bold. I think it has at least another 5 to 10 years to reach its full potential. Amazing wine. Live this one. Pretty fruity but still very light. — 13 years ago
What a wonderful versatile pure Beaujolais - light violet and rose petals, mild tannins, but structures for a light wine. Live it. Quality for price unbeatable. — 12 years ago
Yummy. Tannins silky and integrated. Vibrant dark fruit and sufficient acid. Nicely balanced. Could live for years longer. — 12 years ago
Live from Daryl's, uh Todd's house. — 12 years ago
Took a couple hours for the earthy, damp nose to open but when it did...awesome wine. Graphite, cassis, beautiful finish. Could still live longer. — 10 years ago
How cool is it when wines of exalted status live up to the billing.?This wine is exceptional. Ripe cassis fruit, juicy acid and a whiff of herbs. Yes herbs.. Classic stuff. Fucking delicious. — 11 years ago

2012. Lovely and sublime, but I felt did not (or could not) live up to the hype. — 11 years ago

Very nice but didn't quite live up to the Cheval Blanc pedigree. Incredibly aromatic, and quite fine tannins with a precise finish and good acid. But this lacks fruit in the mid palate and ultimately didn't quite get there for me. Maybe better a few years ago? — 9 years ago
