Exotic and funky. Good rich dark fruity wine. — 9 months ago
Fragrant and luscious. Bold, big berry and cherry notes with hint of spice. One the best zins we’ve had this year. Rivals Turley.

Not jammy. Big in all the right places. Super approachable. — 4 years ago
While it is not a reserve build, this still sees plenty of oak...malo is avoided here. I like its fresh Chard fruit vibe and viability...acid is key here — 5 years ago

Decent Cab, was hoping for more complexity — 8 years ago
This drinks much better than the last time I had it about 3 years ago. Ripe plum, blackberry, blueberry pie, cinnamon, coconut, and black pepper on the nose. Rich and smooth on the palate, though a bit syrupy.

Super dark ruby red. A bit of complexity on the nose with cinnamon, cedar, earth, herbs, a bit toasty and touch of red berries. Rounded and medium tannins (6/10). Medium bodied with notes of spices, dust, strawberries and cherries. Medium plus finish and well balanced. Drink till 2023.

Waited on this ‘14 for a special occasion- 25th Anniversary dinner with my lovely Diana- richness has come out with age, smooth tannins but that dark cherry and Rit’s Earthiness are pronounced from this unmistakable terrior. Oceans Ghost is always a journey through the old sea floor and those cooling ocean influences on the grey earth. Terrific! — 9 months ago
