Dark Cherry on the front end- mild spice throughout. Mild tannins Elegant finish 2015 in February 2019 — 7 years ago
Intense apple cider bite. Delicious! Not too thick for an ice wine. — 7 years ago
Never in my life have I encountered a beverage like this. This is truly like liquid stone and stone fruit skin in the absolute craziest way. I don’t really know what to do with it but I will be back for more if for none other than shear interest. Not a quaffing wine and by no means is this fun, this is the most serious wine I have ever encountered. Not sloppy and not flawed. Georgian shamanism at its most psychedelic. — 8 years ago
Really complex and fascinating medium bodied orange wine with notes of peach, spice, honey, and oolong tea. Aged in clay, Georgian wine. Natural. — 10 years ago

John Ledgend medium blend red. Little rough which must be Zin. But overall very drinkable to pallet. — 7 years ago
A nice display of Georgian Amber wine. Very interesting without overwhelming tannins. For lack of better terms, with less fruit and more funk. — 8 years ago

Full bodied with structure and kind of meaty... hints of green peppercorn. Inky in color but fairly light on the palette. Tart cherry finish. Very nice for a our first Georgian wine and the region from which viticulture evolved. — 10 years ago
really well done. classes Georgian skin contact white. rich, viscous, but citrus acidity to balance. rose water, thyme, roasted almonds. — 6 years ago
Astonishing fruit concentration with a crystalline freshness that is impressingly managing to interwove the pronounced savory complexity. Mesmerizing presence on the palate that is pulsing through the long finish. Yet it’s only a baby and God knows what this will be as an adult. The legend sure is true, Gonon: St Joseph elevated to infinity. — 7 years ago
What an amazing wine...still very young, initial smell is earth, spice, cut mushrooms, stony and red tart/ripe cherries...coats palate from beginning to end. Acid just holds it taut and nervy all the way thru. Opened up even more as the nite went on..paired with charcuterie...on point and delivered as legend says.. — 7 years ago

1979 Clos Du Mesnil. What do you do when you are confronted with a legendary wine? You hope it doesn’t disappoint. At Pages in Paris today, Tomo delighted us with this outstanding bottle. Medium golden hue. The nose was to die for: fresh, white flower, chalk and honeyed - alluring and forever changing in the glass while keeping its freshness. Hints of truffle wafted away within minutes. What seemed like an impossible dream of the ultimate Champagne remained intact. Fine but persistent bubbles, huge but balanced concentration with a refreshing, zesty acidity and a finish I can still taste an hour and a half after having drained the last few precious drops of this legend. Wow, wow, wow. Incredible. 100 points. Don’t be afraid to open now or in 20 years. — 8 years ago

A quite nice wine from Georgia - relatively limited experience with these wines, but clearly a strong winemaking tradition. Nice and inky dark in the glass, with lots of dark berry fruit. Medium bodied with medium minus tannins and good acid on the finish. For the price - and with Georgian food in Brighton Beach - a nice wine for sure. — 6 years ago
