Very dark. Makes me wonder if there is a little Petit Verdot blended in. Nose: lovely over-ripe dark cherry. Some tobacco and leather . Palate: the same. Still light and fruity. Very easy drinking Merlot out of Virginia. — 7 years ago
It held beautifully
I personally thought was 15 years younger
Lots of scents
From a dark fruit like blueberry and plum to spices like cloves and cinnamon; leather and cigars box too.
Looking for weaknesses I’d say it doesn’t have a long finish, not extremely intense on the nose( is that really a fault?) and maybe it is a bit too much on the oaky side, but altogether very enjoyable wine. Colour was misleading, still ruby and garnet, just a slight glimpse of orange on the edge. Thanks @Mauro Gabriele — 7 years ago
Great wine to drink it with your love one! — 8 years ago
In a word, this Cab Franc is LEGIT! Fruit forward, but deep and succulent on the back end. Cherries, currants, a hint of tobacco. It's as if they bottled a gentlemen's bar from back in the day: power, red leather, and smoke. I like it!!! — 8 years ago
Slightly less sweet than cantina gabriele Moscato - less syrupy too. Honeysuckle — 9 years ago
