Reddish in color.
Fruity nose and medium in body with medium acidity.

Medium finish with fine grained tannins and cherries.
This 6 year old feels very young at the moment. Fruity with mild complexity. Soft and smooth. Elegant with good structure.
Needs time to open up properly, and will continue to age nicely in the next 5 to 7 years.

Very engaging, full bodied. Robust but not overpowering in any area. Great flavors. Much less exciting the second day I tasted. — 7 years ago
The mighty Pisoni Vineyard produces some very compelling Pinot Noir. It’s hard to pick it early because the signature of the site seems to develop later. I liked it. Not to take any of the winemaking for granted it seemed fully ripe but had an acid tang I was surprised by. More time in bottle might grind that down. I’d dance to it — 10 months ago
Could wait on drinking other bottles of this for another 5 years. Delicious tonight…I expect better in a few years. — 4 years ago
Super cheap, great bottle for before dinner — 6 years ago
The best digestive I've ever tried, it helps upset stomachs — 4 years ago
The 2015 Barolo Gramolere is powerful and dense in the glass, with a good bit of richness but also less of the tension that is such a signature for wines from this site in Monforte. Cedar, sweet tobacco, pine, mint, dried cherry, licorice and dried flowers develop with air, adding attractive layers of complexity. Overall, the 2015 looks like it will drink well relatively early.
