Much better than anticipated. Not foxy. — 9 years ago
Slightly torn on this one. Interesting and enjoyable. Great concentration of fruit, funky, a bit foxy, cigarette notes. I actually liked it, but it was a bit up there on the "natural" scale. It could have been many different varieties from varying places.

Awesome red. Smokey and super smooth. Blend of cab. Malbec and carminiere. — 10 years ago
Mid ruby, earthy, farmy blackberries, dry, fine tannins, silky red fruits with a gentle finesse.
Nothing foxy about this English delight! — 10 years ago
It's the base wine, but delightful. Tannins already melted to give it a smooth edge. Red and black small fruits. Slightly foxy. — 10 years ago
Deep ruby. Note of paint?? Definitely smells like forest floor and rivers. Feral, spicy, even a touch foxy. Salty, violet-touched fruit with dark cherries, plums and backbone of spicy stoniness. Fine tannins, with light grip. Quite nice; a salty, deeper male style. — 11 years ago

Love the tropics on the nose, a bit waxy from the semillon but not as foxy as I predicted. Well balanced, mineral forward with a super expressive nose. Creamy on the palate. Delicious white. — 12 years ago
A lovely sparkling grenache rose! Dry, crisp, and great for our salmon salad. Blair will be joining us Friday 5/27 at dinner pouring some of his wines. Come in and try some with your meal! — 9 years ago
First white wine I taste with a hint of reduction, extremely mineral, aromas of gin, verbena, yuzhu, a bit foxy on its nose. Mouth incisive and crispy, awesome finish with agrumes and silex notes — 9 years ago
Smooth and foxy - yes — 10 years ago
So very sweet, and oh so very good. — 10 years ago
Even better hybrid wine with great concentration of flavor and very little foxy character. — 10 years ago
Nose has great mix of kola spice and foxy twig. Palate is slightly blunt but has refined tannin and lush dark fruit — 10 years ago

@Roxy McKnight lunch @ Mozza! — 9 years ago
Cab/Cab Franc/Merlot blend. Actually pretty darned good and has held up well to aging with structure to spare, but it does have a slightly foxy character to remind you that you are dealing with East coast grapes. Fun to finally try a higher end Long Island red, but this is not going to become a regular thing for me. — 10 years ago
Good acidity. Leather, foxy, gamey, campfire, marshmallow, cherry. Loads of complexity. Great value! — 11 years ago
Foxy! Great texture and minerality. — 12 years ago

sadly this vintage is all sold out... Roxy turned me on to this little-marketed rhone white grape. I'm one who love the floral quality of Viognier... Roxy Ann's is a pure delight that gives generously on all fronts but is not overbearing. Dynamic and deep nose- wonderful fruit of stone fruit and lilac- balanced acidity- slightly viscous yet refreshing- substitute for Chard if you're curious — 9 years ago
