Wow, what a bouquet, showing crushed cherry and strawberry mixed with wild herbs, yellow florals and crushed stone. It continued to open more and more over time. On the palate I found youthfully lean textures with tart black cherry, bitter herbs, zesty acidity and savory mineral tones. I was drawn to the description including caramel and creme brûlée. Delicious! Not too sweet nor too dry. The price makes it even better. Apparently it's hard to come by so I'm buying up all I can tomorrow!!

Interesting profile: dried cherries, granny smith, cedar box, with a hint of a big red wine (AUS Shiraz, etc.). Not a lot of carbonation, would have liked to have opened a bottle a year ago to see what role aging has played (bottled 1/16/15). — 7 years ago
