Well crafted Paso Robles Merlot served with lamb chops at The Capital Grille in Boston — a year ago
Super Bowl Sunday kick off with this treat. Nicely balanced blend - 65% Cabernet Franc, 35% Merlot. Smooth but still abundance of structure and lots of fruit. Delicious. Will definitely benefit from some aging. Rating affirmed 8/27/19 at Daou Vineyards. — 5 years ago
Lazy hazy washing down Peat's Bite. — 7 years ago
Delicate and intense at the same time. I appreciate the restraint and the quality of the fruit here is phenomenal. Smooth and silky with wild berries. This wine beckons you to come back for another sip. Patz and Hall doesn't disappoint. — 8 years ago
Perfect 30ish blend, pairs well with everything — 9 years ago
100% Sonoma Cabernet Sauvignon. Very complex. Dark ruby color with a garnet rim. Aromas and flavors of blackberry, plum, black currant, baking spices and dark chocolate. Nice hint of toasted oak on the long and lingering finish. Totally New World in style. Smooth tannins and excellent mouthfeel. Full bodied and juicy. Tannins have relaxed with bottle age. Quite expressive. High quality. — 6 months ago
Perfectly balanced, well-rounded tannins, blackberries — 7 months ago
We had the 2013 Vintage on 7/25/20. A well balanced, fruit forward, full bodied wine. Tastes of blackberry and blueberry. More akin to the Napa floor as opposed to Stags Leap. — 4 years ago
Continuing our way through Hall's line-up. This was my father-in-law's pick to go along steaks and it was delicious. More bright and red fruit dominant than most Hall cabs (this is 100% cab). Black cherry and violet on the nose. Front palate gives way to a gigantic mid palate and finish full of dusty traits, cherries, blackberries and raspberries. Hall is always so consistent in their wines. Worthy of a club membership. Happy Father's Day! — 7 years ago
I love this stuff. Wasn't expecting much due to the gimmicky (but awesome) packaging but it delivers. Clean, crisp, delicious. Doesn't overreach, not overally mineral, just delicious, drinkable, poundable. Perfect for anytime with anyone. — 7 years ago
One of our all time favorites around the $40-50 price point. Definitely fruit forward but in no way overbearing. Notes of cherry and chocolate up front, but dissipates so beautifully and satisfyingly. — 8 years ago
Worth putting down. More concentration than zip. Intense pear action with a great dancing minerality. Layers of mandarin and lemony cream. Great creamy mouthfeel. If you close your eyes, you can smell the eucalyptus trees from the property. — 9 years ago
Could use some more aging. More spice and more bold. Not as good as the 2010 — 10 years ago
This one aged well! — 6 months ago
Rarely do I go over the top on ratings but this is very deserving. Just extraordinary in its complexity, balance and profile. Dark and inky in the glass, loads of red and black fruits, cedar and a hint of chocolate. The finish just lingers and the tannins have softened. I'd say this was well worth the wait. — 7 months ago
Medium body and great with cheese popcorn! 😍 Great price with great taste. Yay👍🏻 — 8 years ago
Excellent. Crips and clean with strong citrus notes. Paired well with stuffed clams. — 9 years ago

Nice balance, not as rich as I anticipated as many Hyde’s are from Patz. — 5 months ago
