1975 out of magnum and from a leaky cork . Procured it from a collection. Mature with notes of brioche , kumquat . Apricot ,Chamomile , white flower ,lychee, and oyster shell. On the palate it’s exotic and explosive with vibrant ,apricot , papaya , caramel, nuts ,tons of dry extract some Sauternes like notes . One of the best 1975s I have had from a leaky cork. Seemed an appropriate Christmas wine. Can’t rave enough about Kf wines. QPR is a little whack but it delivers. Way too young to open but ran it through the Venturi a few times and it showed really pretty red fruit, elegant wine. Hold for several years before trying again. — 5 years ago
