My go-to red! — 5 years ago
I would love to retaste these Charles Perez Bergerie wines. They pack a serious punch of blood, bacon fat, olive, and red fruit. — 7 years ago
Funky blackberries, loved it with smoked lamb — 7 years ago
Vinho delicioso, com toques de fruta e amadeirado tb.
Recomendo! — 7 years ago
From the days where Raul Perez still made a 100% pinot noir. In the more recent years of this wine he always uses Mencia in a blend with Pinot. Only 526 bottles made and one of the very few Pinot Noirs from Spain. This is nice but is slightly sharper + has more acidity then Burgundy pinots. Nevertheless a great discovery. — 8 years ago
Gentle tannins, aromatic, dark cherry, wildflowers, coffee, smoke, underbrush and eucalyptus... Absolutely well rounded caldo that will make any sunset memorable... This is a fabulous wine for serious wine lovers that have some friends over ... Canary Islands 🇮🇨 scoring really high AGAIN !! — 4 years ago
Volcano Essence. Indigenous variety from Canary Islands. Fruity, Peppery and mineral. Bold and complex. Honest and intriguing . Rare and singular... Medium weight with mid to high tannins and balanced acidity. This is a serious wine for serious drinkers. This is a trip into tradition and knowledge. Masterfully crafted in Abona. — 6 years ago
One glass easily became two. More black fruit, medium body and smooth. Very nice. Try more Raul Perez. — 6 years ago
Ermahgerd, this wonder is SO yummy! We're drinking the 2012 in 2018. The nose is totally reminiscent of blackberry pie! This wine is smooth and easy to drink. My only complaint is that it has 16.6% abv, which makes it hard to appreciate more than a glass (especially if it's your second of the evening). Definitely drink this wine now if you have a bottle stashed away. Cheers! — 7 years ago

Green apples, bee pollen, yellow plums and tomatoes, hay, sweat, barnyard funk and gasoline. A deep and expansive flavor with a satisfyingly salty finish. Love this wine- it’s a trip. — 7 years ago
Very good! Whole lot going on here. — 6 years ago
