Drinking this wine made me forget Donald Trump was our president. Which begs the question, is it better to have drank, then to never drank at all?

Absolute delight. Deep berries and currants. Very fruity yet balanced with earthy minerals and light tannins. Great food wine with white meats and medium intensity flavours. Couldn't stop drinking this! — 10 years ago
A wine to remember. Plenty of fruit after 38 years. It continued to open for an hour and held on long after that. A truly special wine. many thx Mike for letting us help "rescue" this one from a worn out cork. — 10 years ago

Lovely light and crisp. Perfect Sauvignon blanc for back porch sippin. — 11 years ago
Wow. Pretty easily the best white wine that I've had (I've not had many).
Great nose. Some nice depth there, some kind of earthiness that I've never experienced w a white. Great, a little poopy, in a good way. Nice popping fruit, great acid.
Too hot, alcohol a bit high. Bit it a prob all a package deal. The fruit maybe wouldn't be as nice otherwise.
Medium bodied, nice & creamy, but not too heavy. The acidity keeps it fresh & light, I think.
Fun. I could drink this. — 11 years ago
A tannic monster. Figured a wine named "Wild Boar" is appropriate for Father's Day. This is so freaking dark in notes, but the color wouldn't allude to that. Color is red/purple and smells hot. Red licorice, peppercorn, anise on the nose. High tannins on the palate. Cedar, smoky, beef jerky notes to it. Spicy rhubarb too. If opening now, this needs at least a two hour decant. — 9 years ago

After all these year still only tasty motor oil. — 11 years ago
Who says Pinot from the US doesn't age? This Oregon site has proven a winner for many wineries, and I'm just glad I have several more bottles to see where this one goes in the future. — 13 years ago
