A domestic favorite. Be careful opening it. If you are not familiar with the method of pouring IMMEDIATELY following the cap removal be prepared to lose most of the beverage to the floor or counter. I would give this a 9.2, but I feel like the unstable fizz is a major damper for most people. — 9 years ago
Just enough fizz to open it without a corkscrew. Hint of almond and green, still holding a good amount of acid. — 9 years ago
Crushed almonds, grapefruit, bready fizz, refreshing acid, energetic, easy going summertime drinking — 10 years ago
Not a heavy red — 10 years ago
Smooth! Very smooth — 10 years ago
Definitely on the sweeter side of semi-sweet. Great for a girls night or a romantic evening at home. I'm still pretty new to the world of wines, but so far this is one of my favorites. As another reviewer said, it is a very juicy taste, with a slight fizz. — 11 years ago
Lovely and sweet with a slight fizz. — 12 years ago
2010. Loved the stuff. Super carbonic fizz at start which wore off quickly. Got deeper with time. Almost cab franc isch. Value. — 13 years ago
Strong apple and Chardonnay taste but delicious! Less bubbly than prosecco. Very enjoyable. — 8 years ago
Wonderful. I do that it looses its fizz quick. — 9 years ago

Deserves high praise. A ton of aromas from almond to wet iron, raspberry, chocolate. Fizz at the start, depth an hour later. Give it time to breathe, but drink a few sips of the unbreathed stuff right after uncorking too. — 9 years ago
Just as funky and orange as ever. Slight Vidal and moscato and late Riesling nose. Slight fizz. Really weird — 10 years ago

One of the better cheap vinho verdes. Dry, light fizz. — 8 years ago
Shafer TD-9 2015. This is a blend of merlot, cabernet, and malbec (56/28/16) and I love it! This is big and jammy like a good merlot should be. The color is moderately dark. The bouquet is blueberry preserves. The initial palate is black currant and blackberries ripe off the vine. The mid palate is oaky slowly opening into a vanilla and buttery dry finish. Just delicious!!!! A bit pricy at 65 dollars a bottle, but Ill buy it again hands down. This is a fantastic bottle of wine. If I could afford it Id buy a case. — 9 years ago
Funky touch of fizz miracle juice — 9 years ago
Wow!! Fantastic farmer fizz. Seriously hits all the right Champagne notes for me. Nose is concentrated and generous with rich toasted nuts, fresh croissant, baked yellow apple, and a truckload of crushed chalk. The palate surprises with much more precision than the richer nose might indicate, which I LOVE and makes for a really interesting juxtaposition. Hits you with a heavy dose of crushed chalk, which opens up to lemon meringue and crisp orchard fruit, which then gives way to a yeasty, croissant finish, carried from attack to finish with rippling waves of laser-focused acidity and a fine mousse of bubbles. That fine mousse and skillfully managed lees aging provides some nice body, although it's still very lively and nimble. Just... so fucking tasty. — 10 years ago

Such a weird and interesting wine - secco spumante Lambrusco from natural fermentation. Its not a wine really like any others. Deep concentration in color, and aromas of pencil box, Luxardo Cherry juice, purple flowers, and black raspberry. The pallet is fully of bright acidity, with prominiate tannin structure, black currant, dried herbs, and chalk mineral, all encompassed by medium fizz - similar to any other spumante wine from Italy. Perfect for pasta with a tomato based sauce and a touch of spice, or pizza - served slightly chilled. Too cold and this wine is worthless... 50-55 degrees is perfect. Gotta say I've enjoyed this wine more than I care to admit. Cheers 😁 — 8 years ago
