Stolpman Vineyards Angel Falls (Santa Ynez Valley) -- fantastic Syrah, great with meat and veggies. Had it at our 2-yr Anniversary at Brasserie Beck — 11 years ago
Such delightful stuff! Pineapple, alfalfa, lemon, great acidity... My better half says it reminds him of retsina, which cracks me up, but I can kind of see why his brain goes there. It's super interesting stuff. I don't drink it and go yum, I go "wow" and keep trying out of pure interest and secondarily because I like it. — 9 years ago

Beautiful blush colour, ripe strawberry rose petals stronger palate, medium acidity which is actually nice in a rose' every now and then. Perfer over the Whispering Angel I had this week — 9 years ago
Good, sweet, with a bit unpleasant aftertaste. Would buy again. — 9 years ago
Naturally deep gold in the glass. Dried pomes, honey, distinct botrytis flavors on the nose and palate. Medium acidity but in good balance. Got an apple pie? — 10 years ago
