Despite warnings this might be fading this bottle was in excellent shape and had life ahead of it. Nothing fancy here, just really solid Bordeaux for the price. Deep fruit, cigar box, long finish. Needs some air and still great on day 2. Unmistakably Bordeaux. — 7 years ago
Enjoyable classic example of Riesling from the Rheingau. Honeyed Apple, lime citrus, honeydew melon. Crisp acidity that finishes through. Medium residual sugar that balances nicely with the high acid. Nothing fancy here, but a solid summer white or perfect pairing for some spicy Thai food — 8 years ago

Taste like a fancy Port. — 7 years ago
The Dos Cortados is very fine indeed. This bone dry sherry is very much on the amontillado side of palo cortado yet is deep and kaleidoscopically complex. The finish had focus worthy of a Mesnil Champagne and every kind of fancy nut one could imagine. — 7 years ago
Cheap but damn good. Not fancy or complex but tastes good. Drink now. — 7 years ago

Deadly on day 2! Bold nose of strong dark fruit and leather. Palate is long and smooth like the snake in my pants. Vibrant flavours of blueberry and spice with floral undertones. — 9 years ago

Need a Leo at your party? Looking for that gal who can charm the pants off a discerning group of hopeless wanderers? This is your gal. She's a people pleaser with a penchant for citrus and lemongrass. This is the city gal of summer wines. Crisp, refreshing and a pallet pleaser. Allegedly loves seafood (this according to match.com). — 10 years ago
