Dark ruby and intense in color. Nose of cigar box and leather which developed and a matured cherry flavour boosted.
A multidimensional palate with good structure of tanins, long finish.
Remarkable. — 9 months ago
Deep burnt orange in color with a lighter orange cream mousse and tiny bubbles. Wonderful nose of dried apricots and honeysuckle. This is echoed on the rich (of course) palate. Lowish (medium minus) acidity — it’s Vidal after all — offset by the tingle of the bubbles. Stone fruity moderate finish. Hard to dislike any icewine, even if it’s Vidal, and the bubbles add a surprising element of fun to this one. A nice celebratory dessert wine to drink with your birthday cake or New Year’s pudding. Will likely lose some bubbles after a decade, but should satisfy through 2039 and beyond. — 3 years ago

Oak, easy to drink — 8 months ago
This wine has a rich, gorgeous, golden color. The nose gives a massive whiff of apricots and hints of assorted tropical fruit. The palate is a dessert lover’s delight, unctuous and creamy with sweet flavors of apricot, pineapple and apple tart. The acidity is fine, if not a match for steak. Try it with a soft cheese, or even with a hard cheese. It will also pair well with fruit pies. Delicious and dreamy. — 10 months ago
Loved this wine tasted at Basil’s wine tasting. $20 with a discount. Nice caramel flavor — 3 years ago
This is exactly what it’s supposed to be. Problem is that it’s not exactly what I want in wine. Dessert Wine: yes yes the syrupy aroma clearly lets you know what’s ahead. The fruit flavors are hidden behind the nectar but full flavored and fulfilling its purpose. — 4 years ago
