2018 vintage. Douro red. Família Silva Branco. Aged 18 months in French oak. Dark red. A bit oak at first, but 5 minutes in the glass work miracles. Good fruit and spices, fresh acidity and well-tamed tannins. While the oak is integrated, I personally would like to see it toned down a bit. — 3 years ago
