Deep ruby glass with translucent violet rim. Medium strong nose predominated by earth followed by cherry, plum, vanilla, strawberry and hints of tobacco and cedar. On the palate, mild acid of cherries, blackberries and blueberries. Finishes medium long with earth and slightly bitter cherries associated with small soft tannins. The 2010 cuvée Cathleenis very pale yellow in color with green tints. It has good mineralityand again very restrained aromas I it needs to open up. Aromas are of Bosc pear and fair skin.
