Medium Ruby with complex aromas of ripe berry fruits and fresh floral, mint and herb citrus scents, aged for 36 months in oak. On the palate the palate flavors of raspberry, cherry, tobacco and fresh herbs give this medium+ body wine some power, yet it’s graceful and elegant. Soft fine tannins on a well balanced frame makes this wine enjoyable today but it will be better in about 5 years and over the next decade. — 3 years ago
Best Greco I’ve had, and I’ve had many. This is an amazingly underrated grape, but’s great along, with cheese, or light fare. All I know is that I want to try some of the other obscure Mastrobernardino whites I can’t usually get and in fact have barely heard of. — 4 years ago
