Dry with balanced acidity, gotta love Oregon. Savannah, GA — 10 years ago
The big bad expensive Jericho Canyon now available in GA!!! This their 2013 Cab. At almost 200 a bottle I am a bit disappointed. If it were 75 dollars Id give it a 9.2. Its 14.9% acl/vol. Big dark fruit up front and a bit or orange peal on the mid palate. The fish is pretty dry and oaky. Its a great wine for a wealthy palate. I prefer a good Orin Swift Papillon!!!!! — 7 years ago
Good Job with this one San Antonio Winery and the Riboli family!!!!!! I couldn't ask for a better wine! Good gobblie gooks! This is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon aged in French then American oak! 110 dollars total shipped from LA to Athens GA for 4 bottles! Damn good deal. I'd pay 110 dollars for one bottle it is so good!!!!!!!!! The bouquet is rhubarb and pie in an old country store - lots of oak and pipe tobacco - the initial palate is blackberry and vanilla spice and quickly exposes amazing hints of chocolate and coffee. The finish is dry but doesn't leave my mouth dehydrated. Excellent Wine!!!!!! I just ordered 4 more bottles. — 8 years ago
This is an amazing blend! Nadia from Santa Barbara Highlands and Laetitia winery. The color is dark and opaque. The bouquet is raspberry jam on buttered toast. The initial palate is so smooth. Hints of blackberry and cranberry followed by a dry oaky peppered bliss! Absolutely no acidity and not too dry! WOW... I had this at a local restaurant called The Last Resort in Athens GA! - by the glass!!!! Finally a restaurant with wine in Athens!
FANTASTIC!

Tasted this beauty at Bacchanalia in Atlanta, GA for Uncle Ernie's 80th birthday celebration. Complex Pinot with a nice balance of fruit and earth, plus an appealing whiff of French barnyard. This is a fine choice to sniff, drink and savor. Tasted the 2013 vintage. — 9 years ago

Palazzo Della Torre 2013 Veronese, Allegrini - wow. The production of this wine is impressive. Corvina and Rondinella grapes are fermented in September and a second group are dried until January when they are pressed and added to the September juice. I have decanted it and it is wonderful!!!!! For a restaurant wine I am very very impressed. I am at DePalmas in Athens GA the downtown restaurant. The bouquet is a bit jammy with chocolate and cherries. Like a chocolate covered cherry!! The initial palate is dark cherry, blackberry, and tart raspberry. The mid palate comes quick with notes of chocolate and spice. The finish is wonderful. It is very dry with hints of coffee and nutmeg. What a complex wine. Its the best Italian wine Ive had yet!!!!! — 8 years ago
Drank a glass at DuLac's Cafe in McDonough,GA. Really really good. Smooth finish, sexy legs, rich color. — 8 years ago
— 9 years ago

I have discovered a wonderful Malbec at a local favorite restaurant of mine. This is LLAMA 2017 old vine malbec from Mendoza of coarse. Aged in French Oak for six months. Black berries, butter on initial palate. Oak and spice on the finish with a mild tartness , almost orange peal zest. This dissipates almost immediately. It is mildly dry and buttery thick on the mid palate. W o w!!!! My new go to at DePalmas Restaurant in Athens GA - East side!!! This is going in my SA wine tasting event! — 7 years ago
